JOÃO INCERTI x GITANO MIAMI ART WEEK
From Wednesday, November 24th to Tuesday, November 30th, GITANO Miami will be hosting Brazilian artist Joao Incerti to create a series of original murals in the restaurant’s entrance hallway, private dining room and outdoor rooftop, as well as a select number of new paintings to be displayed and sold in the Jungle Bar on the roof. The weeklong creation will culminate in a preview event on Gitano’s rooftop on Tuesday, December 30th where guests will celebrate and view the artwork for the very first time with performances from Lord Facinator, Signe Pierce and DJ Rosa Peligrosa.
Joao Incerti is a Brazilian visual artist, with a unique talent for creating colorful prints, paintings and murals. His artwork is inspired by elements of nature, animals and a desire to celebrate the vibrancies of the world. He began his career in fashion and created prints for FARM Rio fashion brand which has dressed notables such as Sarah Jessica Parker and Gwen Stefani. After five years at Farm, creating more than 300 prints, Joao decided to become a full time artist.
